There again (ဒါေပမယ့္လည္း)

You say there again when you wish to add something to what you have just said, especially something which is different from or opposite to what you have just said:

ဒါေပမယ့္လည္း (there again) ကို သင္ေျပာဆိုခဲ့သည့္ကိစၥတြင္ တစ္စံုတစ္ခုထပ္မံေပါင္းထည့္လိုသည့္အခါတြင္ သံုးသည္။ အထူးသျဖင့္ သင္ေျပာဆိုခဲ့သည့္အရာႏွင့္ ျခားနားေနသည့္ပံုစံ (သို႔) ဆန္႔က်င္ဖက္ကို ေျပာလိုသည့္အခါတြင္သံုးသည္။
 

• The food was very good last time we ate there, but there again that was about two years ago.
  ေနာက္ဆံုးငါတို႔စားခဲ့တုန္းက အဲ့ဒီမွာ အစားအေသာက္ကေကာင္းတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္လည္း
  အဲ့ဒါက လြန္ခဲ့တဲ့ ၂ႏွစ္ေလာက္တုန္းကေလ။

• I want togo somewhere that is warm and sunny. There again, I don't want it to be too hot.
  ေနသာျပီး ပူေႏြးတဲ့ေနရာတစ္ခုခုကို ငါသြားခ်င္တယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္လည္း အရမ္းေတာ႕လည္းမပူေစခ်င္ဘူး။
   

You can also use then again in the same way:
သို႔ေသာ္လည္း (then again) ကိုလည္းအလားတူသံုးႏိုင္သည္။

• I suppose Henry might get the job; then again, he might not.
  ငါက Henry အလုပ္ရႏိုင္မယ္လို႔ထင္ထားခဲ့တာ။ သို႔ေသာ္လည္း သူရခ်င္မွရမွာေပါ့။

Let's face it (လက္ခံလိုက္ၾကရေအာင္။)

You say let's face it when something unpleasant is obviously true and people should not pretend that it is not:

လက္ခံလိုက္ၾကရေအာင္ (let's face it) ကို ႏွစ္ျမိဳ႔ဖြယ္မေကာင္းသည့္ကိစၥသည္ လက္ေတြ႕တြင္ အမွန္တရားျဖစ္ေနျပီး ထုိကိစၥကို အမွန္တရားမဟုတ္ဟု ဟန္ေဆာင္မေနသင့္ေၾကာင္းေျပာရာတြင္အသံုးျပဳသည္။
 

• Let's face it. My brother is a thief and he stole money from his own family. (လက္ခံလိုက္ၾကရေအာင္။ ငါ့အကိုက သူခိုး ျပီးေတာ့ သူ႔မိသားစုရဲ႕ပိုက္ဆံကို သူျပန္ခိုးတာ။

• Let's face it—Bill is very old and cannot look after himself properly any more. လက္ခံလိုက္ၾကရေအာင္။ Bill က အရမး္အိုေနျပီ ျပီးေတာ့သူ႔ကိုယ္သူလည္ူေသခ်ာဂ႐ုစိုက္ႏိုင္ေတာ့တာမဟုတ္ဘူး။)

Quite frankly (ပြင့္ပြင့္လင္းလင္းေျပာရမယ္ဆိုရင္)

You use quite frankly to show that you are saying what you really think without trying to be polite or kind:
ပြင့္ပြင့္လင္းလင္းေျပာရမယ္ဆိုရင္ (quite frankly) ကို သင္၏တကယ့္ထင္ျမင္ခ်က္ကိုေျပာရာတြင္ ယဥ္ေက်းမႈ (သို႔) ၾကင္နာမႈမပါ၀င္ဘဲ ေျပာရာတြင္သံုးသည္။

• Quite frankly, I think Jane's new house is very ugly. ပြင့္ပြင့္လင္းလင္းေျပာရမယ္ဆုိရင္ Jane ရဲ႕အိမ္အသစ္က အရမ္း႐ုပ္ဆိုးတာပဲ။

• Quite frankly, we all thought that Bill behaved very badly and he should apologize. ပြင့္ပြင့္လင္းလင္းေျပာရမယ္ဆိုရင္ ငါတို႔အားလံုး က Bill ဟာ ဆိုးဆိုးရြားရြားျပဳမူခဲ႔တယ္လို႔ထင္တယ္။ၿပီးေတာ႔ ငါတို႔ကို ေတာင္းပန္သင့္တယ္လို႔လည္းထင္တယ္။

You can also use to be frank in this way:
ပြင့္လင္းရမယ္ဆိုရင္ (to be frank) ကို လည္း အလားတူသံုးႏိုင္သည္။

• To be frank, I'm sure that Sue is making a big mistake in marrying Peter. ပြင့္လင္းရမယ္ဆိုရင္ Sue က Peter ကို လက္ထပ္တာ အမွားၾကီးမွားတယ္ထင္တယ္။

I hope so (ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ရတာပဲေလ)

You say I hope so to show that you want something to be true or to happen and think that this is possible, but not definite:
ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ရတာပဲေလ (I hope so) ကို တစ္စံုတစ္ရာသည္မွန္ကန္ေၾကာင္း (သို႔) ျဖစ္လာႏိုင္ေၾကာင္းျပလိုၿပီး ထိုကိစၥသည္ ျဖစ္လာႏိုင္ေသာ္လည္း အတိအက်မေျပာႏိုင္သည္႔အခါ သံုးသည္။

• 'Will they be able to repair your car today?'
  မင္းကားကို သူတို႕ဒီေန႔ျပင္ႏုိင္မလား I hope so, although the garage is very busy'
  ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ရတာပဲေလ၊ ၀ပ္ေရွာ့ကေတာ့ အရမ္းအလုပ္မ်ားေနတယ္။

• 'Do you think we've made enough food for the party?'
  ငါတို႔ပါတီအတြက္အစားေသာက္ေတြလုပ္တာ လံုေလာက္ျပီလုိ႔ထင္လား I hope so, but I don't know exactly how many people are coming.' ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ရတာပဲေလ။ ဒါေပမယ့္ လူဘယ္ေလာက္လာမလဲ ငါလဲေသခ်ာမသိဘူး။
