မစိုးရိမ္ပါနဲ႔၊ မင္းကို ငါတို႔ရဲ႕ အစီအစဥ္ထဲက မဖယ္ထားပါဘူး။

ေစ်းႏႈန္းက အခြန္အခ မပါဝင္ပါဘူး။

ဝန္ထမ္းအသစ္မ်ား အစည္းအေဝးမွာ ခ်န္ထားခဲ့ပါတယ္။

• expect (v) - ေမွ်ာ္လင့္သည္။---------------------------------------
expect something; expect to do something; expect somebody/something to do something; expect that စသည့္ ပံုစံမ်ားျဖင့္ သံုးပါတယ္။

- I sent them my CV and now I’m expecting the answer.
ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ရဲ႕ CV ကို သူတို႔ဆီ ပို႔ခဲ့တယ္၊ ခုေတာ့ အေျဖကို ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ေနပါတယ္။

- We expected you to come earlier.
ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ ခင္ဗ်ား ေစာေစာလာဖို႔ ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ခဲ့ၾကတယ္။

- I expect to be here for a week.
ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ဒီမွာ တစ္ပတ္ေလာက္ ရွိဖို႔ ေမွ်ာ္လင့္တယ္။

• expand (v) - ခ်ဲ႕သည္။ က်ယ္သည္။ ျဖန္႕သည္။ ---------------------------------------

expand သည္ ကံမလို ႀကိယာ (intransitive verb) ျဖစ္ၿပီး something, a business, a company, a market expands စတဲ့ ပံုစံမ်ားနဲ႔ အသံုးျပဳကာ noun form ကေတာ့ expansion ျဖစ္ပါတယ္ ။

- Our company has expanded rapidly over the last three years.
ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ကုမၸဏီက လြန္ခဲ့တဲ့ ၃ ႏွစ္အတြင္းမွာ ျမန္ျမန္ဆန္ဆန္ က်ယ္ျပန္႔လာခဲ့တယ္။

ကၽြန္ေတာ္တို႔ ကုမၸဏီကို တ႐ုပ္ကို ခ်ဲ႕ထြင္ဖို႔ စီစဥ္တယ္။

• exaggerate (v) - ခ်ဲ႕ကားေျပာသည္။ ပံုၾကီးခ်ဲ႕သည္။-------------------------------------------------------------
exaggerate ကို ကံမလို ႀကိယာ (intransitive verb) အျဖစ္သံုးႏိုင္သလို ကံလိုႀကိယာ (transitive verb) အျဖစ္လည္း exaggerate something, the truth, a story စတဲ့ ပံုစံမ်ားနဲ႔ သံုးႏုိင္ပါတယ္။

- Newspapers tend to exaggerate the events they describe.
သတင္းစာေတြက သူတို႔ေဖာ္ျပတဲ့ အျဖစ္အပ်က္ေတြကို ပံုႀကီးခ်ဲ႕ဖို႔ လုပ္တတ္ၾကတယ္။
