၁။စာေမးပြဲျပီးေနာက္မွာ ပညာေရးႏွင့္ဆုိင္တဲ့ဂ်ာနယ္ မဂၢဇင္းေတြကုိ ကၽြန္ေတာ႔္ စိတ္ၾကိဳက္ ဖတ္ဖုိ႔ ရည္ရြယ္ထားတယ္။ 

- ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ရည္ရြယ္တယ္။ 
I intend. 

- ကၽြန္ေတာ္ စာဖတ္ဖုိ႔ ရည္ရြယ္ထားတယ္။ 

စာဖတ္ရန္/ စာဖတ္ဖုိ႔ = to read 
I intend to read. 

- ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ဂ်ာနယ္ ၊ မဂၢဇင္ေတြဖတ္ဖုိ႔ ရည္ရြယ္ထားတယ္။ 
I intend to read journals and magazines. 

ဘယ္လုိ ဂ်ာနယ္လဲ ၊ မဂၢဇင္းလဲ... ပညာေရးႏွင့္ဆုိင္ေသာ ဂ်ာနယ္. 
ပညာေရးႏွင့္ ဆုိင္ေသာ = educational ( adj ) 
educational journals 

- ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ပညာေရးႏွင့္ ဆုိင္ေသာ ဂ်ာနယ္ ၊ မဂၢဇင္ေတြကုိ ဖတ္ဖုိ႔ ရည္ရြယ္ထားတယ္။ 
I intend to read educational journals and magazines. 

- ကၽြန္ေတာ္ စိတ္ၾကိဳက္ = စိတ္ေက်နပ္သည္အထိ to my heart's content 

- ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ပညာေရးႏွင့္ဆုိင္ေသာ ဂ်ာနယ္ ၊ မဂၢဇင္ေတြကုိ ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ စိတ္ၾကိဳက္ ဖတ္ဖို႔ ရည္ရြယ္ထားတယ္။ 

I intend to read educational journals and magazines to my heart's content. 

- စာေမးပြဲျပီးရင္ 
after the exam. 

အားလုံးေပါင္းေရးမယ္....

၂။ ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ေမြးေန႔မွာ ဘုန္းၾကီးအခ်ိဳ႕ ဆြမ္းေကၽြးဖုိ႔ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ရည္ရြယ္ထားတယ္။ 

ဆြမ္းေကၽြးဖုိ႔ = to offer meals ( soon ) or to offer alms food. 

- ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ဆြမ္းေကၽြးဖုိ႔ ရည္ရြယ္ထားပါတယ္. 
I intend to offer alms food. 

- ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ဘုန္းၾကီး အခ်ိဳ႕ကုိ ဆြမ္းေကၽြးဖုိ႔ ရည္ရြယ္ထားပါတယ္. 
I intend to offer meals to some monks 

- ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ေမြးေန႔မွာ = on my birthday 

ေပါင္းေရးမယ္.....

၃။ ေနာက္ တနဂၤေႏြမွာ ေလွာ္ကားအမ်ိဳးသားဥယ်ာဥ္မွာ ေပ်ာ္ပြဲစားထြက္ဖုိ႔ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ရည္ရြယ္ထားတယ္။ 

ေပ်ာ္ပြဲစားထြက္သည္ = have a picnic 

- ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ေပ်ာ္ပြဲစားထြက္ဖုိ႔ ရည္ရြယ္ထားတယ္။ 
I intend to have a picnic. 

- ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ေလွာ္ကားအမ်ိဳးသားဥယ်ာဥ္မွာ ေပ်ာ္ပြဲစားထြက္ဖုိ႔ ရည္ရြယ္ထားတယ္။ 

ေလွာ္ကားအမ်ိဳးသားဥယ်ာဥ္မွာ = at Hlawga National Park 
I intend to have a picnic at Hlawga National Park. 

- ေနာက္ တနဂၤေႏြ = Next Sunday 

- I intend to have a picnic at Hlawga National Park next Sunday. 

၄။ ဂ်ဴလုိင္လ ၁၂ ေန႔မွာ မႏၱေလးကုိ ထြက္ခြာဖုိ႔ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ရည္ရြယ္ထားတယ္။ 

- မႏၱေလးကုိ ထြက္ခြာဖုိ႔ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ရည္ရြယ္ထားတယ္။ 

I intend to leave for Mandalay 

Leave For + Place - သုိ႔ / ကုိထြက္ခြာသည္.. 

( Warning: choose the correct preposition! 
To talk about going away from somewhere to go somewhere else, don't say 'leave to' a place, say leave for a place: 
Trains leave to London every 30 minutes. ဒီလုိမသုံးရပါဘူး။ 

Trains leave for London every 30 minutes. ဒီလုိ သုံးရပါတယ္။ 

on 12 th July/ on July 12 th . 

- ေပါင္းေရးမယ္.. 

>> I intend to leave for Mandalay on 12 th July. 

၅။ စာေမးပြဲျပီးေနာက္မွာ အင္တာ(အလယ္လတ္ ၊ ၾကား ) အဆင့္ အဂၤလိပ္စာသင္တန္း တစ္ခု တက္ဖုိ႔ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ရည္ရြယ္ထားတယ္။ 

I intend to take an intermediate course in English after the exam. 

- အဂၤလိပ္စာ သင္တန္းတစ္ခု တက္သည္ = take a course in English / 
take a class in English 


၆။. ေနာက္ႏွစ္ အေမရိကားသြားဖုိ႔ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ရည္ရြယ္ထားတယ္။ 

- I intend to go to America next year. 

၇။ စာေမးပြဲၾကီး ၂ လပဲလုိေတာ့တယ္။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ စာေမးပြဲၾကီးအတြက္ စာျပန္ေႏႊးဖုိ႔ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ ဆုံးျဖတ္ျပီးျပီ။ 

- The exam is only two months away. ( ဒီပုံစံေလးကုိ မွတ္ပါ.. တကယ္သုံးမယ္ဆုိ မထြက္ေတာ့ဘူး ျဖစ္တတ္တယ္။ 

ဒါ့ေၾကာင့္ .. That's why . ( that is the reason why ) + Sub + Verb 

The exam is only two months away.That is why I have decided to revise for the exam. 

စာေမးပြဲအတြက္ စာျပန္ေႏႊး = revise for a ( the ) test/ 
revise for an (the ) exam 

do some revision 

( She did no revision, but she still got a very high mark.) 

စာေမးပြဲ မတုိင္ခင္ စာျပန္ေႏႊး = do some revision before the exam. 

၈။ အျပင္းအထန္စာ( စ)က်က္ဖုိ႔ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ စိတ္ဆုံးျဖတ္လုိက္ျပီ။ 

I have made up my mind to knuckle down. 

knuckle down ( phrasal verb ) informal - အျပင္းအထန္ စာက်က္သည္၊ စာၾကိဳးစာသည္။ 

to start working or studying hard 
You're going to have to really knuckle down ( to your work) if you want to pass your exams. 

၉ / ၁၀ ေက်ာင္းသားမ်ားအတြက္ ရည္ရြယ္လုိ႔ အေသးစိတ္ေရးေပးလုိက္ပါသည္။ Can/ Could ရဲ႕ က်န္ေသာအပုိင္းမ်ား ေရးဖုိ႔ အခ်ိန္မရေသးခင္ ဆရာၾကီး ဦးညြန္႔သန္း သင္ခန္းစာမ်ားကုိ အေျခခံကာ အနည္းငယ္ ေရးတင္လုိက္ပါတယ္။
